Curriculum Writers for Social Studies
Summer (July and August, 2023)

$36.30 (as per contract) per hour

Positions Available:
40 hours per teacher for the following areas:
  • Holocaust - (1 History Teacher)


30 hours per teacher for the following areas:
  • Sociology - (1 Teacher)


20 hours per teacher for the following areas:
  • Grade 8 Social Studies - (1 Teacher)


Qualifications:

  • Possessed NJ Teaching Certificate (Social Studies)
  • Minimum of three years teaching experience
  • Knowledge of the New NJSLS- Social Studies
  • Evaluated as Proficient under the Kim Marshall Evaluation System
  • A comprehensive knowledge of NJSLS, 21st Century Life and Career Standards
  • Knowledge of the state mandates (e.g. Amistad, Holocaust, Climate Change, LGBTQ Gr. 6-12 and Students with Disabilities)
  • Previous experience in Curriculum Writing Preferred
