Requirements:
  • Valid New Jersey Standard. CE or CEAS Teacher of Disabilities
  • Knowledge of differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles.
  • Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities related to language arts instruction.
  • Ability to interpret assessment data in order to drive the instructional program.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective intervention strategies including a multi-tiered system of support.
  • Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret assessment data in order to drive the instructional program
  • Required criminal background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal alien status.
