JOB GOAL: To serve in a clerical/secretarial support capacity in the Board of Education office.

Twelve month year. Salary to be determined by the Board. Hours are 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. with a one hour lunch.
EVALUATION:
Job performance will be evaluated by the Board Secretary annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of non-certificated staff

Executive Secretary Accounts Payable/Receivable (Part Time)
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma/secretarial experience/business office background
- Excellent degree of proficiency in typing/keyboarding.
- Outstanding knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of common office equipment and machines (i.e. copy machine, postage, duplicating machine, Fax, computer printer, etc.)
- Strong communication and human relations skills.
- Some experience in general business office work.
- Command of computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, etc.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Business Administrator may find appropriate.
- Flexibility in schedule as to accommodate the board office.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
REPORTS TO: School Business Administrator
JOB GOAL: To serve in a clerical/secretarial support capacity in the Board of Education office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers and directs all incoming phone calls, and reviews and distributes incoming interoffice correspondence and regular mail.
- Maintains a regular filing system.
- Orders and maintains all supplies as needed.
- Performs all regular and confidential work as assigned by the School Board Secretary,
- Maintains records and performs task associated with the after-care program.
- Assists in the preparation of Board meeting agenda.
- Assists business office in the scheduling and assignment of district custodial staff.
- Manages requisitions and follow up paperwork for buildings and grounds/maintenance requests.
- Corresponds and follows up with contractors and service providers working with the district.
- Represents the Board office and school district in a professional manner at all times.
- Screens all visitors to the board office each day
- Prepares purchase orders.
- Maintains files for the district re: bid proposals
- Performs any other duties or tasks as may be assigned by the School Business Administrator.
