Instructional Aide/Paraprofessional

Job Summary:

This position is for Instructional Aide/Paraprofessional- Anticipated 2022-2023 school year.

Qualifications:

  • Sixty credits of college-level coursework/or completion of Paraprofessional Exam
  • Successful experience working with children
  • Knowledge of child growth and development and appropriate classroom practices
  • Criminal history background check and proof of U.S citizenship or legal resident alien status


Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the supervision of classroom activities under the direction and supervision of the certified classroom teacher, principal or other designated certified personnel
  • Assists the classroom teacher in the delivery of an effective instructional program.
  • Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills introduced by the teacher.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the teacher and/or principal.
