We regret to inform you that K12JobsNJ.com will be closing its doors at the end of this year, with our final day of operation set for September 30th, 2024.
The Reason for Our Closure:
Our mission has always been to bridge the gap between talented educators and the schools that need them. Despite our best efforts, we have encountered significant obstacles that have led to this decision. We reached out to every single school district and engaged with numerous school superintendents in hopes of fostering partnerships to advertise job opportunities effectively.
Unfortunately, many districts declined to consider advertising in multiple platforms, despite ongoing claims that they are actively advertising across various channels. We have also received complaints from job seekers who reported that some public schools believe they are not obligated to advertise their job openings. This is a significant misunderstanding, as New Jersey law requires public school districts to post job openings to ensure transparency and equal opportunity.
We have witnessed firsthand that the assertion of limited candidates does not reflect the true situation. There is a pool of qualified candidates available; however, it is clear that salaries have not kept pace with inflation, and districts must invest time and resources into proper job advertising.
To Our Employers: We appreciate the trust and support you have shown in using our platform to find qualified candidates. We understand the importance of filling positions with the right talent and have been committed to assisting you throughout our service. We encourage you to utilize our platform until September 30, 2024, to post any remaining job opportunities and make the most of the final months of our operation.
